Article written for El Libro de la Danza Chilena [The book of Chilean Dance].
The article addresses the practice of composition as an ongoing process of making which seem to have no end, continuing beyond the outcomes.
In this manner, composition is considered as a process unique every time, answering to specific emerging contexts, enabling different ways to address such process from within.
The article is questioning ‘what might composition be’ and ‘how something is composed’, not aiming for finding something new but rather for finding difference.
When the book was launched, I presented the following video in the event. The video reflects and deepens some of the ideas developed in the article, namely persistence and diversity while walking.
